God calls us to honor our parents, but to obey God. You no longer are bound by the old nature, but have a family of God.

That hurt my heart to read the evil that helped shape your growing years and the torture you grew up with. I love little children- their innocence, natural affection, and openness. How many little children around us are in a living hell?

Dude! My heart goes out to you. So glad to hear you didn’t become bitter toward God. That happens … But you’re handling it well. You don’t need to be in their lives. Let them seek you out with genuine concern. Till then, nothing. While you’ve extended forgiveness for your own emotional and spiritual wellbeing, they don’t come into the good of that until they ask for forgiveness. It’s not inconceivable that they will, but your distance from them sends a message. Let them get the message.
So many children are hurt by the adults responsible for caring for them. I know this truly. Only God can heal wounded spirits and broken hearts and relieve tormenting memories.💔❤️🩹

The Chaplain at our jail talked to us volunteer ministers today about the ministry of presence. Hearing your story gives meaning to being present. I am present my brother. I have no words.
I honor & celebrate you, as you have indeed been redeemed by the very real Power of the Blood of Jesus in what has been a life of horrendous suffering from those who should have protected you but instead savagely abused you throughout your life. It is certainly many acts of GOD over you to deliver you out from that evil, which they believed to be normal & expected of themselves. They cannot in truth justify their behavior then & certainly not still in their later years. And as long as they refuse to look at themselves with the humble Truth of Christ, they will not be able to believe His Grace or trust His power in their own lives, no matter what you would try to do for them. I know you must have reached down to the depths of the true death of Hell as you could never fully escape it mentally and physically. I thank the Lord that He brought you up & gave you to see & know the relief & peace outside from them. So that He was also able to build inside of you the truth of that great evil and to thereby separate yourself within your soul & to become His own, forever sheltered in Jesus, to His love & healing throughout these years since. Too many Christians are shallow & ritualistic in their faith & try by their own works of power to “imitate Christ” and consider themselves “good” but have never actually known the real power of GOD to carry them thru to really know Christ & that they actually have no power of their own without Him against true evil & death. They are not tested & truly faithful because they just easily conform to temptations of the world. I see in you a greater depth of knowing & understanding that only could have been given to you by Jesus as you sought Him & trusted your whole life in His hands of power. Jesus shows us what true humility and faith in His Father is to be in us. And He never pretended that evil was not evil. And never let anyone else define Him according to their truth to let them off the hook. Forgiveness requires Truth and our Faith in Jesus is built totally on Truth. It is the full Love of GOD for others to speak the Truth of Who He is and not receive the lies of evil of others against us. Holiness in us from Christ living in us & showing us what is really Love will cause us to separate ourselves from what the world will call “normal” but our transformation by Christ makes us know is true evil. Thank GOD He was always with you, delivering you out to Himself, as He Himself surely protected your very life. In the midst of our great fights for survival, we see the faces in front of us & may feel as though He wasn’t there. But the great witness & word of Him that flows from you now, authenicates His Glory & Power was given upon & in you. For though it was all meant for great evil to turn you also into the evil like your family, and to separate you from GOD & His love & power in you, yet Christ in you, turned it for greater Good to bring you inside Him & help build His Kingdom in our lives too. Thank you for your courage & obedience in your love of Jesus.
I am so sorry for all the deep pain and abuse you have experienced. My heart goes out to you. I know you're not looking for pity. Thank God that Jesus found you and rescued you out of that life and brought you into His family forever! Happy and proud to call you a brother in Christ. May the rest of your life be filled with His blessing, favor, peace, and love.
Tears fell when I read your story. I felt the pain of your aloneness. And yet, God has kept you..for Himself and others that need to hear about Him through you. I pray that now you are able to experience ‘family’ as He designed it.
