I am greatly encouraged by all the verses you used to show the Righteousness of Christ as a garment. I don't think in all my years as a believer that I have clearly made that correlation.
In actual walk with Jesus - kind of - I have certainly known that His righteousness is my only hope of entering a holy heaven, but not envisioning it as a cloak.
(I often pray on the armor of God - which to me is hiding myself in Christ - HE IS the Truth, my Salvation, my Righteousness, my Peace. - The armor is a type of covering and protection - and I experience it as His manifest presence. Praying on the armor correlates to Psalm 91.)
