(A Devotional on 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Good morning, friend! Welcome to Rise and Reflect with Candlefish Ministries. Let’s stand on solid ground with 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (NKJV).
In a world of shifting opinions, God’s Word is our anchor. Every verse is God-breathed, guiding us to truth, correcting our missteps, and equipping us to live for Jesus. Want to know God’s plan? Scripture reveals it—salvation by grace (Eph. 2:8-9), Christ’s return (Titus 2:13), and how to love others. When false teachings swirl, test them against the Bible (Acts 17:11). It’s not just a book; it’s life! Share this truth with someone lost in confusion—tell them, “Jesus is the way, and His Word shows the path” (John 14:6). The gospel—His death and resurrection for our sins (1 Cor. 15:3-4)—is the heart of Scripture. Let’s live it and share it, ready for His coming!
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your Word that equips me. Guide me by Your truth and help me share the gospel today. Amen.
