Rise and Reflect
The Redemption Draws Near
🌍 Rise and Reflect: The Redemption Draws Near (Luke 21:28)
The Topaz of Watchful Joy — golden light rising through the clouds
Good morning, friend! In turbulent and troubling times, cling tightly to Jesus’ reassuring command:
“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28, NKJV).
Earthquakes, wars, moral collapse—these events are not random chaos but the birth pains of a world nearing its transformation (Matthew 24:8). While many bow under fear’s weight, we are called to lift our heads high in confident hope. Our redemption is not political or temporary—it is deeply personal: it is Christ Himself, coming again in glory (Titus 2:13).
When troubling news invades your heart or shadows your day, respond with expectancy. Lift your eyes toward the heavens and declare boldly: “Look up! Jesus died for you, and He is coming back to redeem and restore all things.”
Jesus’ promise activates a joy that transcends circumstances. The golden light of the Topaz in your soul is a constant reminder that the darkest clouds of this world cannot overshadow the dawning Sun of righteousness. Christ’s return will scatter all sorrow and renew everything with perfect justice and peace.
The key to living in these times is watchful joy—alert, hopeful, and full of praise even when storms rage. This watchfulness brings spiritual strength to endure and witness.
Prayer:
Lord, lift my eyes above every chaos and disorder. Fill me with watchful joy and make me a steadfast voice of hope and preparation until You redeem us fully. Amen.
Your Step Today:
The next time bad news or fear arises, pause and pray: “Even so, Lord Jesus, come!”
