Rise and Reflect: The Blessed Hope
(A Devotional on Titus 2:13)
Good morning, friend! Welcome to Rise and Reflect with Candlefish Ministries. Let’s continue this week with our eyes on Jesus. Titus 2:13 says, “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (NKJV). What a promise! The “blessed hope” is no vague wish—it’s the sure return of Jesus to snatch us away in the Rapture (1 Thess. 4:17). Any moment, He could call us home! That’s not just a future event; it’s fuel for today.
Paul tells us to look for this hope. So, when Monday’s pressures hit—work stress, family challenges, or world chaos—lift your gaze. Jesus is coming, and He’s your Savior and God. This truth shapes how we live: with purpose, not panic. Say no to sin, yes to serving others, and live ready for His call (Titus 2:11-12). Got someone in your life who doesn’t know Him? Share the good news: Jesus died for their sins and rose again (1 Cor. 15:3-4). Invite them to trust Him today!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, my blessed hope, keep my eyes on You. Help me live today with eternity in view and share Your love boldly. Come soon! Amen.
Your Step Today: Pause midday and pray, “Lord, I’m ready for Your return.” Let it reset your focus.
