It's been a while since I've read your postings, life happens, time of being alone with the LORD.
However I do agree with most of what you have written, I've been warning "believer's" for more than a decade on how the Anti-Christ spirit has overcome main-stream so-called "Christianity", that is why we see the "lawlessness" amongst them.
Most go astray because they have not the Holy Spirit to guide them, because they were never Born-again by the Holy Spirit, they have been taught to believe in the "letter of the word", which brings forth death, as Paul guided by the Holy Spirit teaches us.
Where there is Truth and true Holy Spirit life, there is obedience, because it is the work of the Holy Spirit to "work that obedience" within us, as Jeremiah points out:
"Jeremiah 32:40; "And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do good; but I WILL put MY FEAR in their hearts, that they shall NOT depart from ME."
Also Psalm 19:9 "The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether".
Also James 1:17 & 18; "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."
"OF His OWN Will begat He us with the Word of TRUTH, that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures". KJV
Which means by the Will of God, through His Holy Spirit HE shall work within those who are truly His Body, the "Fear of God" will be implanted within them to Hate ALL evil, and everything that does NOT represent what His Will is, His ways are.
I would like to reply to your statement here, with some questions for clarity, so I do not mis-understand you are trying to convey.
"There’s beautiful room in the Body of Christ for honest disagreement on secondary matters—timing of events, forms of worship, styles of ministry. Faithful believers sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron."
I can agree on the "secondary matters" regarding "timing of events" to a certain degree.
However "forms of worship" is questionable. Because what we are seeing now in what is called or labeled as"Worship" is it regarding the types of "worship music" which is taking place?
IF I am understanding correctly, it seems to state ALL types of music worship is acceptable. If I am understanding this correctly, as written, I would have to Strongly disagree. What we are seeing now as "worship" for the last 40 some years, is NOT true Worship in any measure, and is NOT to be considered "secondary". It is to be considered as Priority. Because what is being promoted as "Worship" in the spirit, is truly the spirit of ungodly, false music worship. According to the LORD'S word we are instructed to worship Him in the Spirit and in Truth. Does present day, Rock, Contemporary, hip hop, country style music true Worship music? Does it truly represent what the LORD desires from His Bride?
So I just needed this to be clarified in what you were meaning.
Also I am not sure what you mean by "styles of ministry" I have an inkling what you "maybe" referring too, but, I at this time can not make a comment, when I am not sure what your view or meaning is. I have learned more on not "presuming or assuming" anything until I can receive a clear, concise specific details to make a judgement upon.
